The balio of Erice (the municipal gardens) ancient acropolis of the city that takes its name from Bajulo who administered the law, and resided in the medieval castle, is a privileged point of observation.

The area surrounding valley opened to 360 degrees is dotted with several villages, and cities, including in the south-oves, the most important:
- The underlying Trapani relaxing with the typical sickle shape of the sea;
- Egadi Islands
- The reserve of salt
- Marsala and stagnone where is the famous island of the Phoenician colony of Mozia and finally
- Mazara and Castelvetrano
- And still farther the mountains ..... above the territory of Sciacca in Agrigento.
- Far into the sea, the island of Pantelleria. On very rare occasions, no more than a couple per year, with very special favorable conditions of light you\'re lucky enough to see even in Africa, the contours of Cape Bon.

In the north-east side of the view, more pleasant, extends over the vast countryside of Erice, full of lush green hills sloping down to the sea from Valderice, Bonagia.

Cape pyramidal hood, with its marble basin of the mighty sea Custonacese stands and behind the tongue of land of Cape San Vito, which juts out into the sea.

Even beyond the island of Ustica
