Set on a large estate with extensive views over the Crete Senesi and Siena countryside, this villa is just perfect for a large group of traveling companions.
Built in stone and brick, this Tuscany villa consists of a main villa (sleeps 14 people) and a dependence (sleeps 4 people), each complete with a kitchen.
The group can also enjoy the common areas around the villa: the swimming-pool, the outdoor for a barbecue, the tennis courts and a five-a-side football pitch.
Description of the area
Just over two kilometers away is the village of Monteroni D'Arbia where there are food shops, a restaurant, and post office. The highlight of the area, of course, is Siena, which is less than 20 kilometers away. This picturesque city is a wonderfully preserved example of the Tuscan Middle Ages, and a treasure trove of gothic palaces, churches, and museums.
It's also well known for its exiting bi-annual bareback horse races, the Palio, held on 2nd July and on 16th August. From here it is possible to discover the beautiful cities of San Gimignano and Volterra, Montalcino, famous for its wine, the Chianti area and the Val d’Orcia
Exterior Description
This ancient villa consist of a main house and a dependence situated 100 meters away. The property is set in a panoramic position and offers views over the surrounding countryside. There is a garden full of plants, trees, and flowers, as well as a large private swimming pool (15m x 7.5m) surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas.
There is also an outdoor terrace with a barbecue, tables, and chairs.
There is also an apartment connected to the villa where the people taking care of the estate live.
