The property is situated at the heart of Val d'Orcia, in the province of Siena, just a short distance from Pienza and Montepulciano.

Immersed in the Siennese countryside amidst the gentle hills and the rows of cypresses there is a little hamlet completely renovated and converted into an exclusive relais. In the 13^th century it was a residence of Olivetan monks, whereas now it is the ideal place for lovers of relaxation, art and enogastronomy.

The Tuscan Country House is the manifestation of a dream of a man and his life partner who have carried out a careful architectural renovation of an old dwelling, restoring its unique and suggestive charm in conformity with the most modern standards of the bio construction industry. It is provided with a completely screened electrical system to avoid any kind of electromagnetic pollution.

This is the ideal place for meditation, relaxation and enjoying oneself immersed in the hydromassage bath tub placed in a marvellous garden with a breathtaking view over Val d'Orcia. Alternatively you can dive into the swimming pool (without chlorine, purified only by oxygen). It gives you a sensation of diving into the heart of Tuscan hills, an immersion into the green of cypresses, the yellow of the flowers and the blue of the water. A magical atmosphere made of silence and profumes like that of lavender allow you to tune into the slow, steady rhythm of spending the hours lazily just enjoying yourself.

In the country cottage near the villa there is the laundry and the wood-burning oven to bake bread and pizzas and the barbecue to grill the genuine Florentine steaks.

In order to offer the greatest sense of well-being the villa is provided with ecological wall and floor heating system and air conditioning.

The property consists also of a 20 hectare farm cultivating wheat, olive trees and vegetables. The production is of high quality and authenticity (certified with label AIAB) following the organic farming method that respects the nature, plants and animals. The farm produces organic extra virgin olive oil: it is cold pressed (antique heritage according to the tradition of the Olivetan monks) with a fruity and delicate taste.

At the residence you can also find pasta, provided by the well-known pasta factory, made with organically grown wheat and worked through bronze die plates to maintain the product genuine and tasteful.
